Quality Assurance Summary:
The following is extracted from
our Quality Manual:
It is the policy of Autoscales
to provide its customers with products which fulfill their
specified requirements and are fit for their intended purpose.
Our aim is to be fully competative
in terms of price and
delivery, and superior in terms of quality when compared with
other manufacturers and maintainers of weighing machines.
The following principles must
be applied throughout the Company:
- Full commitment of all management to
this 'Quality Policy', allied to an active involvement in
quality improvements.
- The understanding of all employees
of the long term importance of achieving customer satisfaction
by providing a consistantly high quality of product.
- A Company-wide 'Quality Assurance System'
is in operation designed to comply with the requirements
of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for which has been obtained, certificate
number FM. 11336.
The Quality Manual defines the
'Quality Assurance System' and provide details of the organization
and procedure employed. It is an authoratative document to
be used in 'Assesment Audit of the Company System'.
Quality Assurance Department:
The role of the Quality Assurance
Department is to act independently co-ordinating activities
affecting 'Quality Systems' within the company and indicate
the monitoring, investigating, advising and specifying of
requirements for :
- Evaluation of potential products.
- Determination of handling and storage
requirements.
- Monitoring of product performance in
the field.
- Investiga
tion
of deficiencies and invitation of corrective action.
- Promotion of quality awareness throughout
the company.
- Development of 'Documentation and Operating
Procedures'.
- Audit and review systems.
ISO 9001:2000 Documentation:
ISO 9001:2000 has become the most
important stamp of quality approval in industry with many
customers and suppliers asking for this all important approval
on their equipment.
